Ardmore 17 Year Old 2008

Price

£95.00

17 Years Old | 51.3% ABV | 700ml | Bourbon Cask | Limited to 90 Bottles

The experiment begins.

This Ardmore 17 Year Old is the first whisky released under the TWA CASKS Beta Test programme, an interactive series inviting whisky drinkers to taste, explore and help shape the releases that follow.

Distilled in 2008 and matured for 17 years in a bourbon cask, this Highland single malt has been bottled at a robust 51.5% ABV. It is presented at natural colour and without chill filtration, preserving the whisky’s full character, texture and depth.

Only 83 bottles are available.

Each bottle connects directly to the TWA CASK APP, where owners can record their tasting experience, explore the story behind the release and take part in the wider TWA CASKS blending journey.

This bottle also forms one half of a future pairing with our forthcoming Mannochmore release. Owners will eventually be able to taste both whiskies individually, experiment with their own ratios and discover how two contrasting single malts can combine to create something entirely new.

What to expect:

A richly textured Highland malt with layers of orchard fruit, soft smoke, vanilla, toasted oak and warming spice. The higher bottling strength offers plenty of intensity neat, while a few drops of water allow the whisky to unfold gradually in the glass.
